BirdRanger
We launched a citizen science project named BirdRanger to facilitate collecting data about wild birds in our region. Using a dedicated android application our rangers register their observations in situ and all the information is submited to our web server. The precise timing and location are essential for any scientific research, so we took advantage of the modern technology to make the data acquisition as accurate as possible.
